The George Washington University graduate Matthew Daugherty, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), is the founder and provider behind providencemedicalmd.com⁠, where the mission is simple: “Take Back Your Health — From Anywhere.” Through convenient telemedicine services and in-person appointments when needed, Matthew is committed to making quality healthcare more accessible, personal, and centered around the patient.
With more than a decade of medical experience, Matthew has cared for patients across a wide range of settings — from intensive care units at Level 1 trauma centers to fast-paced urgent care environments. His background has given him the clinical experience to treat complex medical conditions while also understanding the importance of compassionate, patient-focused care.
Matthew earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from The George Washington University and has built his practice around the belief that healthcare should empower people to live healthier, fuller lives. As both a provider and devoted family man, he understands firsthand the importance of staying active, eating well, and prioritizing long-term health — not only for yourself, but for the people who depend on you.
